Next Action Day: May Day Strong, May 3

The purpose of Grove City Grassroots is to connect our community to national days of action, to add our voices to the rallies and marches around the country. The next one is May Day Strong, aligns with International Workers Day, which in the United States commemorates a 1886 general strike that culminated in the Haymarket Massacre in Chicago.
As with the April 5 Hands Off! rally, we will meet in Memorial Park in Grove City at 11:00 and proceed to line Main Street with our signs, until 12:15. At 12:30, a rally will begin at the County Courthouse in Mercer, 9 miles away.
Please bring your signs, or come early and we'll have materials for making them.
We had a great April 5 rally, with 165 people lining Main Street. Let's keep the momentum going! The people's marches and rallies have helped to ignite a spirit of resistance to the administration and DOGE's chainsaw attacks on our services, programs, and rights. Musk is stepping back and the legal challenges and resistance to Trump's unilateral actions are building.
